Are you working hard to earn more and neglecting your health??? What’s the use when half of your hard earned money is spent on your health??? So here are some tips which can keep you healthy while you work.
- After having your lunch go for a small walk.
- Instead of elevators use stairs to reach your office.
- Walk to your colleague’s desk instead of talking over telephone.
- While you are on a business trip prefer hotels with gym or fitness club so that you can exercise in your free time.
- Try and allot some time for exercise on your daily schedule and make sure that you follow it.
- While working take small walk breaks or do some stretching as it will ease off the pressure from your back.
- You can also make a recreational team with your co-workers so that you can plan some trips or picnics which make all of your cheer up and in turn be healthy.
- Suggest your manager to organize some sport events or some recreational activity.
- Prefer home made food over fast food or out door food.
- Try to include green salad, sprouts, nuts and mixed fruit salad in your lunch.
- Reduce the number of cups of tea and coffee you take in a day.
- Instead of aerated drinks, go for a glass of fresh fruit juices, lemonade, buttermilk or skimmed milk.
- If you have the habit of snacking in between, then opt for fruits instead of fatty potato chips.
Aren’t these steps simple enough to keep you healthy at work? Try them and you will find tremendous betterment in your health.
