Many a times we promise ourselves to stick to a fat reducing diet but end up eating more than we should.  Causing us to suffer from guilt traps making us feel miserable and awful every time we give in to our cravings.

This in turn leads to a feeling of helplessness, we feel as though some external source is controlling all our moves-especially our eating habits, causing us to give up on our Diet plan.

Well, some studies have been conducted to study the cause of this kind of bingeing behavior. One of the biggest reasons they state out is lack of consumption of enough calories during the day.

1.Lack of normal calorie intake causes the brain to search for food that compensates the shortage of calories that we restrict ourselves to eat.

Inevitably we end up eating more than the usual amount of food, till the ” I am so Full ” feeling sets in.

Studies indicate that people who restrict themselves from eating are the ones who end up eating the most. In order to avoid this kind of bingeing, one needs to have a wholesome diet. This way our stomachs are also full and we don’t end up bingeing.

2. Lack of sleep according to studies also increases the amount of food intake in an individual. So, in order to maintain that slim figure,gear your self for a proper nights rest.

3.Bingeing Time: Studies also indicate that there is a particular time when individuals resort to eat lot of fatty food; it differs from individual to individual. For some it may be in times of stress, for some munching something is essential while watching TV. For some munching Cadbury’s leads to a feel good feeling.

Identify such food indulgence periods in your eating pattern and attack it. Deviating your mind from food by listening to music, dancing, reading or talking to a friend helps get over that phase.
Keep these three points in mind and get over that bingeing habit.
