Experts opine that “hot whiskey” when taken in moderate amounts is good for health. Infact, hot whiskey is said to alleviate some symptoms of flu like sore throats, coughs and severe headaches. Many also opine that taking small amounts of whiskey doesn’t make you tipsy or drowsy.

What Does Hot Whiskey Contain?

Hot whiskey contains the following ingredients:

  • Lemon
  • Cloves
  • Honey
  • Hot Water

Hot whiskey is reported not just to alleviate the symptoms of flu but also helps in fighting infections and bacteria. Hot whiskey has thereby proved to be a potent factor for boosting the immune system.

How to Prepare Hot Whiskey?

Hot whiskey can be prepared as easily as suggested below:

  • Warm a glass
  • Stick 5 cloves into a slice of lemon
  • Pour whiskey into the glass of warm water
  • Add the lemon together with a teaspoon of honey
  • Pour boiling water

This preparation is recommended to be taken orally and just once in the evening.
