Lack of exercise is the reason behind many chronic health conditions such as heart problems, diabetes etc. Some of the reasons people give for not exercising are, being busy, lack of motivation, and not knowing how to exercise. However, the effects of lack of exercise are so serious that doctors are recommending at least 30 minutes of exercise daily.

Lack of exercise symptoms can be increased weight gain, fatigue, difficulty in doing daily chores etc. Lack of exercise can also show up in the form of loss of flexibility, increased laziness, and inability to do simple tasks. Lack of exercise primary leads to obesity, which may in turn lead to knee pain, lack of mobility and decreased self-esteem.

Exercising can be done in many ways such as by walking, jogging, swimming, or cycling. Always remember that exercising should make you feel warm and mildly short of breath. Even 30 minutes of exercising daily can make a great difference. However, to lose weight and maintain it, about 60 minutes of exercise or greater is recommended daily.

There are several advantages of exercising. Aerobic exercise increases the strength of the heart and lungs. Strength training increases the strength and muscle mass. Stretching exercises increase the flexibility of the body. Here are a few exercising tips for exercising every day:

The deteriorating health effects of lack of exercise is equivalent to smoking a pack cigarette a day. Lack of exercise doubles the risk of heart disease. Hence, it is very important to exercise. Hence, start exercising and ensure a healthy and long life.
