Dumbbell is a body building equipment used for developing muscles, arms and various parts of the body. It is considered as a type of free weight, exercises can be done using one dumbbell or a pair of dumbbells.

Selectorized dumbbells:
These are the adjustable dumbbells whose weights are changed manually: for example, by moving or turning a selector pin. This helps in changing the weight plates between the exercise schedule.
Aerobic dumbbells:
These dumbbells are very light weighted, its weight ranges from two to ten pounds. They are completely plastic made and are useful in aerobics.
