Benefits Of Working With Dumbbells

The benefits using dumbbells are many. The first and the foremost thing that strikes our mind is being flexible in carrying out the workout anywhere. It also provides natural movement to our muscles, hand, wrist muscles and elbows.

Dumbbells can be used differently for different exercises, and the major benefit of the dumbbells are it not helps in shaping up the muscles but also helps in stabilizing the joints.

Few exercises that help improve your body:

Arms exercises:
Sit stiff on the bench or a chair, leave your arms free on both sides of the body with the wrists facing each other. Now get one dumbbell up to the shoulder by turning the wrist inward and slowly get back to the original position and repeat it with the other hand.

Chest exercises:
Lie down on your back on the bench or on the gym ball, hold a pair of dumbbells and stretch your arms above the chest. Using both your hands stretch your hands downwards and upwards. Repeat this exercise for a while.

Shoulder exercises:
Lean towards front at the waist, then hold a pair of dumbbells in your hands with arms extended parallel and then raise it up to the shoulder level. You can do this by moving both hands at same time or with alternate hand moving one by one.

Back exercises:
Stand with your legs a little wide apart bent at the knees. Do not look downwards while lifting a pair of dumbbells, stretch it with over-hand grip to touch the upper abdominal. repeat this movement until you get exhausted.
