The benefits of dumbbells are many, they are easy to carry, they are light weight, and it can be used creatively for several kinds of exercises. Warm Up:
Before starting up with an exercise, perform a warm up session for 10 – 20 minutes of walking, jogging or stretching exercises.

Start with Light Weight:
Start using low weight dumbbells in the beginning and progressively increase the weights.

Schedule a program:
For any dumbbell exercise, you need to select the appropriate dumbbell for the exercises you choose. You should be able to complete the repetitions and sets.

Do not drop dumbbell: Many gym users have a habit of throwing the dumbbells after completing a set of exercise. Whenever a person holds the weights, his muscles come under tension and by dropping them suddenly will release the tension at once, This act can sometimes lead to muscle tear.
