Calorie cycling is an approach to eating that is meant to reduce fat and weight loss by tricking out the metabolic process.
Calorie cycling is not exactly a diet plan, but it is a process of juggling the metabolism according to the quantity of calories you take per day.
The Theory Behind Calorie Cycling
To lose fat we require lot of energy, so we use the energy that is stored in our body to exercise. To gain energy, we again need to add some calories to our diet in-order to keep our activities going on. But by taking calories in excess quantity, the energy gets stored under our skin and becomes fat.
In simple words it means, calorie out and calorie in.
Example of Calorie Cycling Diet
To maintain a calorie cycling, you need to know few things
- You should know, how much quantity of calories to take per-day, in-order to maintain your weight.
- Your workout plan and required energy
- Amount of fat you want to reduce while on diet.
Once you are thorough with these things you can easily manage your diet and exercise plan.
Let us assume that you are a tall, thirty year old man weighing 180lbs, and you visit a gym three times a day.
You will take approximately 2000 calories per-day, which comes up to 14000 calories per week.In order to reduce 1 lb of fat you need to cut down 3000 calories per week. So if you deduct 3000 calories from 14000 calories, you will get the amount of calories you take per week and i.e, 14000-3000 = 11000 calories.
Hence by following this plan you will be able to main your weight. And if you are not particular about counting your daily calories, then may be this is not a good option for you.
