The exercises of carpel tunnel help in increasing the flexibility and also reduce the effect of carpel tunnel syndrome. The stretch exercises of carpel tunnel help in strengthening the muscles of the neck, shoulder and wrist by increasing the circulation of blood in these parts.
In this article we will be discussing some the exercises which will help you in strengthening your carpel tunnel.
Carpel Tunnel Exercises For Various Parts:
Here are some basic exercises which can be followed to strengthening the different parts like the wrist, neck, fore arms, fingers etc. Some of these exercises are:
- Carpel Tunnel Exercise For Wrist: This simple wrist exercise is known as wrist circles. In this exercise, you will have to rotate your wrist in both the clockwise and anti-clockwise direction. Keep your fingers intact while you perform this exercise. Do at least 10 rotations on each side and then repeat them with the other wrist too.
- Carpel Tunnel Exercise For Forearms: To do this exercise, just stretch the muscles of your forearms. This will help in reducing the tension in your muscles. Now, keeping your palms together and flat, stretch out the muscles of the forearms by raising the elbows. Try to hold the position for sometime and then shake your hands to relax them gently. Repeat this exercise frequently for better results.
- Carpel Tunnel Exercise For Neck And Shoulders: For exercising the carpal tunnel of the neck and shoulder, just sit straight and place your left hand at the top of your right shoulder. Now, hold the shoulder down and also turn your head in the downward direction towards your left. Try to hold this stretch position for a few seconds and then leave to relax. Repeat the exercise with the other side too.
